Thanksgiving Basket Project, the first project for the Chicago Windy City Lions.<\/p><\/div>\n

As previously posted<\/a>, Brenda and I are now members of the Windy City Lions Club. This Thanksgiving was the first scheduled project, were a handful of families were selected to receive a full Thanksgiving dinner, based on their own interest and taste.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Brenda and I were not able to be an active part of this project, it was a clear success and made us both very happy to have joined the club. We are planning on being part of a project in the next two weeks with Lens Crafters where children who need glasses will be examined and fitted for glasses.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During this time of\u00a0economic\u00a0uncertainty, it’s really nice to put some efforts into helping others that are really in need of more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
