Yesterday Andrew decided it was time to have his first experience with Emergency Medicine. You see, he’s been thinking about becoming an ER Doctor, and he loves watching the show ER (he’s very disappointed this is its last season) and so he orchestrated an unplanned trip to the emergency room.

While his walking skills are quite good, his judgment of how many steps it takes to get to an object is sometimes a little off, especially if he’s overtired which was the case this time. It only took a moment when he reached out and came up 1 step short of being able to reach the top of the subwoofer (which is like a small end table that blasts out the smooth rich low frequency sounds of our TiVo entertainment).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The result? His forehead won the race\u00a0against\u00a0his hand to touch the top of the subwoofer. At first it didn’t seem so bad, but later in the day Maria (Super Nanny) called us and said she thought maybe he should go in. So Brenda rushed home to her unplanned date with the ER.<\/p>\n

A few hours later, after some intense crying, screaming and kicking, Andrew was back home resting on the couch watching Blues Clues with 4 new\u00a0stitches\u00a0in his\u00a0forehead.<\/p>\n

On the up side, I don’t think any of the other babies on the block will be messing with him since he looks like he just walked out of a bar fight.<\/p>\n
