… a bit too windy. <\/p>\n

Everything was looking great on the way out today, and our small group was excited. Just walking into the hanger I felt exhilarated and felt like this might be a place i start seeing on a regular basis. <\/p>\n

<\/a>We walked up the counter and filled up what must have been 20 sheets of paper (front and back) and signed and initialed everything. We were then escorted to a classroom where we spent all of 10 minutes learning what we needed to know for our jump. It started with a 25 year old video telling us about all of the dangers of doing a skydive, and to realize that while every safety measure is taken, there are no guarantees. The last part of the class was a brief overview of what would happen next, what the gear looks like, and other details on what to expect. <\/p>\n

<\/a>We were the second group to go up, but it was around that time (about 30 minites after getting there) that we were told the winds had passed the 25mph cut-off. We waited around for almost 2 hours but then decided to call it a day since conditions were only getting worse. <\/p>\n

We will try again next week, either Friday or the following Monday! <\/p>\n
