It was our first real attempt to take them in public for any length of time. I got the idea after talking to my sister Dawn who has been doing that with her little one John.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We ended up being gone for about 4 hours and the boys did very well and seemed to enjoy all of the new sights, sounds, and smells. We felt like\u00a0celebrities\u00a0at times because so many people were taken by the fact that the boys were twins (it\u2019s hard to miss in a doublewide stroller). You could hear people talking and\u00a0whispering\u00a0as we walked by, and in a few cases people actually stopped us and asked questions about them. It was kind of fun.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We ended up getting home just in time for another feeding and to put them down to rest. They didn\u2019t sleep much at all while at the mall so they were pretty tired when we got back.<\/p>\n<p>So we now have a new (and very inexpensive) weekend activity that gets us out of the house, even in the winter!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While it\u2019s too cold to go walking around the neighborhood with the boys right now, we decided to take them to Woodfield Mall today and do some indoor walking.
