Just format your whole computer drive and start over!<\/p>\n

That’s what I had to do today. Due to many accumulative factors from several years of abuse, my computer got to the point late yesterday that it would not even boot up. After trying all of my usual voodoo that nearly always works, I had to give up and just format the drive and start over.<\/p>\n

Because I’m always backing up, I have lost nearly nothing in the process, but it’s still a pain to to reinstall everything from scratch.<\/p>\n
