Almost 2 weeks ago Andrew had a scan to make sure there was no extra fluid in his head. The scan came back normal, but the\u00a0pediatrician\u00a0that Andrew had seen said she just wanted to be\u00a0absolutely\u00a0sure nothing was\u00a0missed, and requested that we schedule an appointment with a Neurosurgeon to get a second opinion on the scan. As she put it to me when I talked to her on the phone last week, “If it was my child I would just want to be\u00a0absolutely\u00a0sure”.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So our appointment is today at 1pm. I’m not expecting to find out anything different then we already know but I’ll post an update this evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
