  • The Family Arrived

    3:51pm

My mom, sister Debbie and niece Madison all arrived today from the Detroit area. We went to lunch and now they’re hanging out with Brenda. I think Brenda is just thrilled to have somebody other then me to talk to!

We’re still on schedule for tomorrow morning, and there’s no reason to think Brenda will go any sooner since she has not had a single contraction yet as far as she can tell.

So the main event starts in just over 12 hours!

  • No News is Good News

    2:45pm

Nothing new to report today. Brenda is taking it easy and getting sick of TV with every second that passes. I’m working on the bi-weekly bills and going to the office shortly to take care of those bills and invoices.

Tomorrow my Mom, sister Debbie, and niece Madison will arrive for a 3 day visit. They’re staying at hour house while Brenda is in the hospital, and leaving early Wednesday morning.

So keep your fingers crossed that Brenda makes it past midnight tomorrow! We’re pretty happy about having New Years Eve birthday boys.

  • The Last Doctor Visit

This afternoon Brenda had her last pregnancy related doctor visit (at least for this year). The doctor did a quick ultrasound and said that the babies heart beats were good and strong, and that the fluid around them looked fine. At this time there are no signs of contractions, so it looks like she’ll have no problem making it to Monday.

We have to be at the hospital at 5:00am to check in and get ready, and the surgery starts at 7:30. The procedure will last about 30-60 minutes, and then Brenda will be in recovery for about 90 minutes or so.

So providing everything goes as planned, we’ll finally meet the new boys around 8am on Monday! We just can’t wait!

This is one time I will not mind getting up early at all.

  • All set for a Monday delivery!

Brenda is scheduled for a c-section at 7:30 am on Monday. We have to be there around 5am to get ready for the big event. GAME ON!
