Today the boys took a field trip to the office to meet our friends there. It was really nice to share them with so many people today and I know Brenda really enjoyed getting out of the house!
The boys were really good with being passed around to everybody and only got a little cranky towards the end when they got hungry. The whole visit lasted around 2 hours.

After nearly 6 weeks and a screwed up order (we actually received a picture of another families baby), we finally received the one print that we ordered from the hospital.
The boys did good posing, but the quality of the final photo was just OK. But, it’s what we have.
I really enjoy the way Max is posing in this one.
Time is going by fast with these boys already and I can’t express in words how much joy they bring me from just holding them and looking into their eyes. I just can’t get enough of them. Even when I get home at 9pm I can’t wait to hold them and feed them, even if I’m tired. I normally try to take care of them until midnight or 1am so that Brenda can get some solid sleep.
Not too much new going on, except that we’re hoping to make some progress on the Nanny front. We’re using an agency and have two selected for interviews sometime this week (I’ll try to set it up tomorrow). We may interview more but we’re just starting with two and will go from there. Both are very well qualified and it was exciting just looking at their resumes.
Brenda is doing well and has lost all but 10 lbs. of her gained weight. She really looks like herself again and is starting to get her old energy back as well. She has her follow up appointment with the doctor in 2 weeks.
Today we spent the afternoon at Grandma Jane’s house. The boys enjoyed the extra company, the new location (many new things to look at) and visiting with Grandma, Trina, Randi, Bridget, Emily and Kurt.
I took some good video and will post a few short clips later in the week.
Today the boys had their 1 month visit and all went very well. They checked out great, and both gained plenty of weight in their first 4 weeks here. I could feel a big difference just carrying them from the car! Andrew now weighs 8lbs 9 oz, and Max weighs 7 lbs 11 oz.
The doctor was nice and allowed me to do some video recording today (much more then anybody other then a parent would want to see) and I’ll try to post a small clip of that in the next week or so.
They were pretty funny together on the table with their flailing arms smacking each other. They both behaved very well and hardly cried through the whole ordeal. So all in all it was a nice family trip this morning.
