  • Saturday… In the Park… I think it was the 4th of July…

    Actually it was Sunday, and it was the 26th of September, but there are no good songs with those lyrics.

    Sunday was a great day to play outside with the kids. Having the “Tomchak Park” is turning out to be a great use of our long neglected yard.

  • A Typcial Sunday

  • Sydney’s Debut Video

    It took nearly a year for this to see reality, but here it is, Sydney Tomchak’s first video.

    This time shot and edited by Brenda, and get this…. it was done entirely on her iPhone! She would shoot footage along the way, add photos here and there, and just edit a shot or two as she had time. When she was done she exported a full 720p HD video. It’s just mind blowing what you can do these days.

  • Sydney Video

    People often ask me what it is I do on these trips. Even though I feel like I explain it well, sometimes it’s easier to show than tell.

    Here is a video that is very typical of what I usually do on these jobs. It’s one of 6 – 8 videos that I will do before the convention is over.

    Everything in the video was shot just a day, or sometimes hours before I put it together, and then it plays first thing in the morning the next day. It’s the end result of 2 cameramen, 2 producers, 1 associate producer and myself as the editor (I’m the last one in the chain).
