  • The Last Doctor Visit

This afternoon Brenda had her last pregnancy related doctor visit (at least for this year). The doctor did a quick ultrasound and said that the babies heart beats were good and strong, and that the fluid around them looked fine. At this time there are no signs of contractions, so it looks like she’ll have no problem making it to Monday.

We have to be at the hospital at 5:00am to check in and get ready, and the surgery starts at 7:30. The procedure will last about 30-60 minutes, and then Brenda will be in recovery for about 90 minutes or so.

So providing everything goes as planned, we’ll finally meet the new boys around 8am on Monday! We just can’t wait!

This is one time I will not mind getting up early at all.

  • All set for a Monday delivery!

Brenda is scheduled for a c-section at 7:30 am on Monday. We have to be there around 5am to get ready for the big event. GAME ON!

  • 3 Days to Go

    3:15 pm

All signs now point to it all unfolding on Monday at a scheduled time. We’ll find out by the end of the day tomorrow what time that will be and I’ll post in then. We’re hoping it’s first thing in the morning.

Today we made a brief stop by the office to pick a few things up, and Brenda had the chance to see some friends that haven’t had the chance to see her in months.

Once we got home I decided to take the motorcycle out for the last ride of the year. Although it’s only 35 degrees, it was pretty nice. The jacket and gloves that I have are very warm and I pretty much stayed in our neighborhood since my plates need to be renewed.

So nothing else to report until tomorrow, but I think we can (almost) count on it happening Monday now.

It may be December, but it was still a nice day to take a quick drive through the neighborhood.
