The dr. appointment went well this morning, and they were able to tell that she is not having contractions at all. So at this point it looks like she may go the distance on this one unless things change.

So although it can still happen at any time, the plan is to have them delivered next Monday (December 31st) if nothing happens before then.

Today I’m doing more home improvements and working on the web server, but I have to say I finally have all of the things done that I set out to do originally. Anything else from here on out is just a bonus. Yesterday I was able to finish cleaning/reorganizing the storage room, and cleaned the basement so that people staying over have a place to relax and sleep.

That’s all for now.

Just to be safe we brought the suitcase with us. We will be here for about an hour while they do the stress test on the twins. Maybe I should have them run it on me too.

I can hardly believe it, but Brenda has made it to week 37. My original guess was that she would have them at the beginning of week 36.

She was very uncomfortable last night and had a hard time falling asleep. She had some new pains too but insisted that they were not contraction related. I slept on the couch because it’s been hard to get a good nights sleep with her. She’s always moving and turning and groaning and snoring these days.

Based on average growth rates, it’s possible that they are not only over 7 lbs. each, but they might be close to 8 lbs. So even if she goes a few more days, they could be some really big babies (for twins anyway).

I feel like today could be the day.  But I’ve been wrong before.
