  • SHOPPING FOR MINI-VANS

Tonight we went to look at the Honda Odyssey, the current front runner in our search. We are between the Toyota Mini-Van and the Honda, but after tonight I think we’re almost convinced the Honda is the one we’re going to get. Now we’re just waiting to hear from our accountant if it should be a 2007 or 2008 purchase for tax reasons.

The one we looked at is the Touring model, and includes all of the fun goodies.

You can find our more here.

  • CostCo Fun

Who said the Prius is a small car! You would be shocked how much you can fit in this car when you fold down the rear seats. I had an entire flat bed cart of goodies that all fit in the car. Toward the end a few people were slowing down to take a look since I was loading it right next to the front door of CostCo.

  • Randi at Trina’s Birthday

    l1dy4sryp1wlqfw2ahh5aagn_500.jpg

Randi (right), Jeri (left), and David (the dude in the middle) at Brenda’s Mom’s house today. We were celebrating her sister Trina’s birthday.

Randi has come a very long way since her accident back in April, and at 100% from all accounts. You would never know it by seeing her now how serious the accident was. We’re all very thankful that her recovery has gone so well and thank god for the miracle. Every time I see her I think that she’s a living example of a true miracle. We all Love her very much and we’re glad she’s still here with us.

  • 32 Weeks and Counting

This week Brenda is at her 32 week mark. Everything is still going well and she’s handling things pretty well. Believe it or not, she’s still working too, but only from home for the last several weeks. It looks like her last job will be done in the next two weeks, maybe sooner. The sooner the better!

I shot some video of her this weekend, I’ll try to post it sometime this week (if she approves is).

My work days are pretty long given I don’t have her at the office to help anymore, but things are going well and business is pretty brisk with next year looking very promising. Changes are good I’ll have to hire a full time editor to replace her more sooner than later, but we’re trying to hold off on that as long as we can until we’re sure.

This next week we’re scheduled to look at a mini-van or two (we’re considering both the Honda and Toyota mini-vans) and we’ll be interviewing Nanny’s very soon.
