    This year more than any other year in the past I really liked all of the kids costumes, and they were all very excited about wearing them. We had a Princess (she was just dressed as herself), a cowboy and Iron Man.

    We were heading out to a Halloween party and before they trashed what they were wearing I thought it was a great time to get some photos.

    A great fall weekend for the family, complete with Hayride! And as a added bonus, there were no trips to the emergency room and no broken arms. What’s not to like!

    The last photo is of the floor treatment that Max did in their bedroom, which is a little “Beautiful Mind” like.

    Weekend Photos

    We spent the day in Chicago yesterday, and unlike most of the time when we go down, we didn’t really have a plan. First we were going to Millennium Park, then maybe Navy Pier, but we finally settled on the Lincoln Park Zoo. And then when we parked at the Zoo, decided to just use it as a parking spot and walk around the city a bit. It turned out to be a fun day of exploring with the kids and they were all in great moods. They didn’t listen to anything we said, but they were in good moods.

  • A Visit from Kelsey

    The kids old babysitter and friend Kelsey paid us a surprise visit this weekend while she was in town for a wedding. She lives in Ohio now so we have not seen her in over a year.
