I think I would probably get 4 of them, one for each appendage. Then I could REALLY get things done and look stylish at the same time.

Daddy Daughter Day
On Wednesday Sydney decided she wanted to spend the day with me while I ran some errands.
The first stop was SuperCuts downtown where she met Sherri, the woman that’s been cutting my hair for over 12 years now.
Then we went for a walk outside since we were downtown in Chicago. Sydney told me the sun was a bit bright so we kept the walk short.
Next stop was the Apple store in Oak Brook, where she was clearly just as excited as I was to be there.
On the way home she asked if she could have some ice creatm, so we stopped at DQ for a special treat. She didn’t eat the whole thing so I had to finish it off.
Finally at home, she passed out. I like to call this photo “Creepy Sleepy” because she’s sleeping with her eyes open. She does this all the time.
All in all, it was a great day with my little princess and I can’t wait for our next date together.
Love you daughter.

Good Times at the Pumpkin Patch
This past Saturday we didn’t know what to do with the boys. The weather wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. We had spent the previous weekend at the mall since the weather was so nasty, but didn’t feel like being indoors again.
So while we were all at breakfast (our Saturday tradition now after they go to My Gym) I did a goole search for “Puppy Petting Zoo” on my phone. I had visions of the boys rolling around in a pile of puppies while laughing and playing. While I didn’t find any puppy petting places, I did find a farm nearby called Johansen Farms that had plenty of child activities year round. So off we went!Because of Brenda’s condition we were not able to do a lot with the boys (it really does take the two of us when they’re not strapped down), but I’m sure next summer they’ll be able to enjoy it a lot more. There were hay rides, train rides, pony rides, a Jumpin Playroom, and animals of all kinds that you could pet.The rest of the photos are on SmugMug -

Fathers Day Weekend Photos
Fathers Day weekend was a combination of Fathers Day on Sunday, and our 6 Year Anniversary on Saturday. Thanks to Brenda’s Mom Jane and her sister Toni, we had a full 27 hours of freedom!
We left on Saturday at 10am, went to see a movie, checked into a nice hotel downtown, had lunch and then just relaxed in the room and ordered room service. We didn’t return until Sunday at 1pm and then spent the rest of the days with the boys at the park.
Below are a few photos, you can find the rest on SmugMug.
