Thank You Lactation Staff of Central DuPage Hospital

Late last week after much thought and consideration, Brenda decided to stop breast feeding. It seems like something that is so natural and easy until you have to do it yourself.  And doing it for two boys instead of one is no easier and pretty exhausting to say the least. Brenda was using a breast pump that we had rented from the hospital (almost $100 per month) that needed to be returned on Sunday or we would be billed for another full month. We figured it was Sunday, they were closed, only to find out on Monday when I called that they are open 7 days a week.

So technically, we owed another full months rental. Just for the heck of it I wrote this letter (download the PDF) and put it inside the pump case. They called on Tuesday morning and said they wouldn’t bill us.

Yea! Every penny counts these days!
