One-On-One With Andrew
On Friday I decided to take Andrew with me to run some errands and to get a haircut with me. The haircut didn’t work out so much (he started throwing a fit) but the rest of the day was great. We walked around downtown for a bit, sat outside and had a snack together, went […]
New Book: Delivering Happiness
The visionary CEO of Zappos explains how an emphasis on corporate culture can lead to unprecedented success. Pay new employees $2000 to quit. Make customer service the entire company, not just a department. Focus on company culture as the #1 priority. Apply research from the science of happiness to running a business. From the founders of the trailblazing software company 37signals, here is a different kind of business book one that explores a new reality. Today, anyone can be in business. Done At Last!
To say a weight is lifted off my shoulder having finally finished this would be an understatement. It took around 15 hours over 3 weeks (whenever I could get out there even for just an hour). Thank you Brenda for letting me finish it yesterday while you battled the twins alone!

Once Was Enough!
I’m not sorry I did it, and maybe at some date down the road I’ll try it again, but I feel no hurry to repeat my skydiving experience. From the point of view of just knowing that you can do it, it was a very powerful thing to do. It was not all that long […]
Sydney’s Debut Video
It took nearly a year for this to see reality, but here it is, Sydney Tomchak’s first video. This time shot and edited by Brenda, and get this…. it was done entirely on her iPhone! She would shoot footage along the way, add photos here and there, and just edit a shot or two as […]
New Book: Programming in Objective-C 2.0
I might be taking a 5 day class at the end of October on iPhone programming, and this book will do a good job getting me ready for the class. One of the best things about buying Kindle books is that you literally have the book within seconds of buying it, without having to spend […]
