Brenda’s twin Bridget, and her husband Tim are ready to deliver their second baby sometime today. More info as soon as I get it! Brenda is at the hospital with them right now and will be in the room during the birth.
We still don’t know if it will be yet another boy in the family, or another girl. They currently have a 3 year old daughter named Emily Jane Addison.
Just format your whole computer drive and start over!
That’s what I had to do today. Due to many accumulative factors from several years of abuse, my computer got to the point late yesterday that it would not even boot up. After trying all of my usual voodoo that nearly always works, I had to give up and just format the drive and start over.
Because I’m always backing up, I have lost nearly nothing in the process, but it’s still a pain to to reinstall everything from scratch.
So now that I’m back up I hope to post a few new things soon.
We’re going to look at it as an adventure no matter what happens. That’s our attitude going into this anyway.
Friday morning we will leave around 10am Chicago time and head to Michigan with the boys (and all of their accessories) in our little Prius. I think this will be the first time we truly realize we need a minivan as our next vehicle.
The trip is normally 5 hours or so, but I’m guessing with the extra stopping it will be closer to 7 hours.
The boys are usually very good in the car but we’ve never had them in the car for much more then 30 minutes. So like I said, this could be an interesting adventure! Wish us luck!
I’d swear that with every year that goes by, time is going by faster and faster. It seems like just yesterday it was January, and now it’s nearly April. Days and weeks just seem to fly by but I couldn’t tell you what I did with most of that time!
The last 2 weeks have been unusually busy for me so I’ve been behind on posting anything. Some relief is coming this week as our new full time editor will start on Tuesday. I’ll still be busy through July since this is our busy season, but maybe I’ll get to leave at 6pm once in awhile.
I’ll post more photo and video later this week. There is certainly no shortage of either!
