As you might have noticed my entries are not only less frequent, but later and later each day. I think this is the most time I’ve ever spent away from my computer.
By 3pm today we were home safe and sound with the boys. They made the trip while sound asleep so they never even knew we left the hospital. They’re sound asleep right now, but close to getting up for a feeding so I’m keeping this short.
Brenda had a rough day today. She felt really good this morning but by 10am was not feeling well and later got sick. That delayed our departure until she felt up to it. From what we can tell it’s mostly the pain medication finally getting to her. While she felt bad most of the day she’s doing better now.
Brenda’s mom and her sister Toni came over at 4pm to help out with everything. Toni slaved 3 hours over an awesome dinner that we all enjoyed, while grandma helped with the diapers and feedings. It’s amazing how much there is to do when there are two of them.
We’re still trying to find our rhythm and get them on a schedule, but we’re not quite there yet. I’m confident we’ll be there sooner then later.
