  • And The Envelope Please…

    10:05 am

Please join me in welcoming two new members to our growing family.

    Maximus Stanley Tomchak  (Initials MST)

Weighing in at 5lbs, 12 ounces Maximus  enjoys having his feet rubbed, long naps by the fireplace, and moving his arms from side to side. His favorite number is 7, and he likes to be called Max. The middle name, Stanley, comes from my fathers brother Stanley Tomchak who I always admired growing up but has passed on in recent years. We picked the name Maximus because we both really liked the name.

    Andrew Oland Tomchak (Initials AOT)

Weighing in at 6.bs, 11 ounces, Andrew enjoys yawning, looking around the room with a blank stare, and sleeping 18 hours a day. His favorite color is Blue, and he will also respond to the name Andy. The name Oland comes from Brenda’s mothers father, and Andrew is my middle name. While growing up my father always called me “Andy”, so now I’ll be doing the same with our son.

I’m proud to say that this branch of the Tomchak family name will now officially have a chance to continue growing! It all ended with me if we didn’t have any boys.

We are very excited to have finally met these two boys after so many months of waiting. We loved them long before they even existed.

    More details coming soon.

Photos will be posted here as I get them.

  • It’s a good day to have some babies!

    3:20am

I barley slept from 9-1am last night. I’m just too wound up and anxious. Calm on the outside, but very anxious on the inside!

Brenda said that she slept well and looks excited this morning. I think it’s going to be an emotional day for both of us.

    More soon.

My sister Dawn sent me 13 more photos, so I posted them. It will be the last 13 photos at the end of the group (toward the bottom of the page).

  • The Family Arrived

    3:51pm

My mom, sister Debbie and niece Madison all arrived today from the Detroit area. We went to lunch and now they’re hanging out with Brenda. I think Brenda is just thrilled to have somebody other then me to talk to!

We’re still on schedule for tomorrow morning, and there’s no reason to think Brenda will go any sooner since she has not had a single contraction yet as far as she can tell.

So the main event starts in just over 12 hours!
